Bogan Street sees successful auction sales,
A four-bedroom house on Bogan Street attracted significant interest from potential buyers who envisioned their own Kath & Kim experience.
Located in a humorous area of Greystanes, the home sold for an impressive amount exceeding $1.3 million over the weekend.
“We had a few individuals mention they were too classy to live on a street called Bogan Street,” agent Karen Beebar chuckled.
Interestingly, this was “not the first time” Beebar had sold a property on Bogan Street, showing its market appeal.
“We’ve been pronouncing it differently; Bogan Street has actually been bo-GAHN Street,” Beebar explained with a smile.
She humorously noted that her first name, Karen, pairs well with the uniquely Australian street name, given the memes associated with it.
“It really does feel like a series of comedies,” she remarked, highlighting the lighthearted atmosphere surrounding the property.
Ultimately, the property sold at auction for $1.342 million, which is nearly $100,000 higher than the suburb’s median house price.
