Real estate agency offers $224k cars to buyers,
A real estate agency in New Zealand has introduced a creative strategy to sell newly built townhouses.
Harcourts Golden Link Three Kings is offering a Toyota Camry worth AUD$44,800 (NZ$50,000) to the first five buyers.
These buyers will sign up to purchase a townhouse in The Glade development, located in Auckland’s Mount Wellington.
This area is only 12km away from the central business district (CBD), making it an attractive location.
Additionally, the agency has launched a Black Friday promotion to attract potential homebuyers.
The promotion guarantees that the first five homeowners to sign a contract by November 29 will receive a car.
They can choose either a Toyota Camry Hybrid GX or another car with an equivalent value.
The townhouses in The Glade development are priced at AUD$716,000 (NZ$799,000), with three already under contract today.
The car giveaway promotion is being widely advertised across various platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and WeChat.
Paul Ko, the manager of Harcourts Golden Link Three Kings, shared with OneRoof his belief about this unique offer.
He stated that the agency may be the first to introduce a promotion of this particular kind in New Zealand.
ko emphasized that this promotion appeals to first-time homebuyers and young people looking for both a new home and a car.
“The units are already completed, so if buyers move in before Christmas, they will receive a special Christmas gift.”
The homes are built by developer Unispot and are part of the recently finished The Glade development.
This development consists of 140 dwellings, with each one designed to offer modern living spaces and convenience.
Each home included in the promotion features four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a single carport for parking.

Ko mentioned that the homes in this promotion are being sold for less than their advertised valuation of AUD$806,500.
The advertised price of the homes is NZ$900,000, but buyers will pay a lower amount with this promotion.
Buyers must agree to an unconditional settlement to qualify for the offer, ensuring a straightforward transaction.
If they prefer not to accept the car, Ko said they could choose a different model or negotiate a price discount.
Ko also explained that the agency has a long-standing relationship with Unispot, having sold about 300 homes for them.
