Tiny flat renting for $113,000 weekly shocks,
An inner-city unit in Clerkenwell, London, has left onlookers confused after being listed at an astonishing price.
The one-bedroom apartment is available on Rightmove for £249,000 per month, or £57,577 per week, which is eye-watering.
Converted to Australian currency, this equals a massive $489,000 per month, or $113,000 per week, which is even more shocking.
This asking price seems incredibly steep, even for an already expensive area like Clerkenwell in central London.
Many online commenters on the Reddit thread r/SpottedonRightmove quickly suggested that the price was likely a simple typo.
They believe the listing agency may have mistakenly added extra zeroes to the rent, inflating the price significantly.
If this theory is true, the actual price could be closer to £2,490 per month, or $4,887 in Australian dollars.
Moreover, the theory makes sense given that other apartments in the same building are listed in the low £2,000s range.
Despite this potential correction, commenters were still perplexed by the high rent being asked for the unit in question.

It features two windows: one in the living room and another in the bedroom, offering natural light.
