Sunshine Beach: A haven for everyone,
If Queensland’s coastal suburbs were a deck of cards, Sunshine Beach would be the ace up your sleeve.
It’s unexpected and game-changing in many ways. Nestled beside the lush Noosa National Park, this beachside gem offers a vibrant village.
This village is filled with gourmet restaurants, eclectic shops, and the newly refreshed Sunshine Beach Surf Club.
Life in Sunshine Beach showcases captivating contrasts. Mining magnates and former prime ministers walk alongside barefoot surfers enjoying the waves.
These surfers have been riding these waves since Noosa’s Hastings Street was merely a dirt track.
This eclectic blend contributes to the suburb’s distinct charm. As a result, everyone, from high flyers to beach bums, finds common ground.

In this idyllic village, Jade Tareha and Stacey Conner thrive while running Humble on Duke. It’s a cherished 14-seat restaurant inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine.
Their journey to Sunshine Beach started far from its beautiful shores. They met in Adelaide a decade ago and traveled the world together.
Eventually, they decided to set down roots in 2019. “I can’t pinpoint exactly what attracted us to Sunshine Beach,” Jade shares.
However, they recognized that the clientele was truly special. They are well-traveled, passionate about food, and appreciate good old-fashioned hospitality.
“Yes, the beach is stunning, but what truly excites us is the caliber of people here,” she adds.
Jade often takes a stroll to the café Sunshine Social. Its visionary founder, Ben Clark, traded Melbourne for Sunshine Beach.
He made this move after an Aussie caravan adventure. During this journey, he discovered that this coastal paradise was ideal for his family.
“The surf was calling, and the coffee needed brewing,” Ben quips with a smile. “Everything just fits perfectly here: the open beaches.”
He appreciates the national park, the year-round warm breeze, and the like-minded, passionate people in the community.
“Sunshine Beach was the place we couldn’t leave,” he adds.
The price of paradise
Tom Offermann, principal at Tom Offermann Real Estate, describes the area as the pinnacle of Queensland living.
In this locale, buildings are low while trees soar high, contributing to the chill vibes. However, don’t let the laid-back lifestyle deceive you;
the real estate market here is serious business. “All three of Queensland’s top residential sales occurred in Noosa’s suburbs,” Offermann states.
He notes that Sunshine Beach claimed both first and third place for beachfront properties at $34 million and $28 million.
“The capital growth for these homes has been an impressive 15 percent annually,” he adds. “This trend shows no signs of slowing down.”
For those dreaming of coastal living, Sunshine Beach offers the ultimate prize. Front-row homes are perched high on dunes, overlooking the surf.

“There are only 59 houses on the beachfront,” Offermann states. “These properties rarely come up for sale.”
“When they do become available, there’s often a line of eager buyers ready to act.”
“After all, life’s a beach in Sunshine Beach. If you’re fortunate, it could be your backyard, too.”
