Buzzing new display home style in Bentleigh,
Bentleigh, located in Melbourne’s south-east, offers something unique for everyone. It’s positioned just back from the beach.
Moreover, it’s within easy reach of the inner city. The suburb is home to some of the best schools.
Additionally, there’s a growing community of residents. Many of these residents live in newly built luxury residences.
The numbers speak for themselves. Recent data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows significant demolition approvals in Bentleigh-McKinnon.
In fact, more dwellings were demolished in this area than any other in Melbourne. This trend is to accommodate homeowners’ dream homes.
Recognizing the demand for new builds, Boutique Homes has opened a flagship display home in Bentleigh.
Situated at 62 Jasper Road, this home represents the company’s first knockdown-rebuild display on a metro site.
The design of this display home is tailored specifically to the local clientele. Primarily, families are seeking high-end homes with modern luxuries.
Furthermore, the home features ample space and sophisticated finishes. Titled Toorak, this offering is Boutique Homes’ most premium to date.
Ultimately, it showcases what’s possible when building with the company.
“We aimed to showcase our best capabilities,” says Boutique Homes senior designer Robert Nguyen. “This display home highlights what we can achieve.”
Additionally, it allows us to present various design options available. The Toorak home features Boutique Homes’ Rhode Island facade.
Furthermore, it boasts a spacious floor plan of about 595 square meters, which is equivalent to 64 squares.
Customers have the choice to select a home with identical specifications. Alternatively, they can personalize the floor plan, materials, and colors.
This flexibility ensures the home meets their specific desires and budget. “I believe this facade is truly special,” Nguyen adds.
“It represents a new design from us.” He mentions their previous Hamptons-style designs in various variations.
However, this design stands out as their most premium, high-end Hamptons-style offering.
“If Hamptons doesn’t suit your taste, we offer a variety of designs,” Nguyen explains.
These designs range from traditional to contemporary styles, catering to different budgets and requirements.
The expansive floor plan offers ample space for five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Additionally, it includes multiple indoor and outdoor living areas.
Moreover, there is a grand central circulation space. “The large, open void above the central staircase adds height and volume,” Nguyen explains.
As you move through the house and between levels, this feature stands out. “It’s a unique aspect that isn’t found in every home.”
The living, dining, and kitchen areas occupy the rear of the ground floor. These spaces embrace natural light and provide views of the pool.
Furthermore, the interior materials are warm and inspired by nature. This design choice deviates slightly from the typical coastal aesthetic.
“We were careful not to recreate the standard Hamptons look,” says display design manager Andrea Grover. “Our goal was to refine and elevate Hamptons style.”
This approach aims to create a timeless appearance. Nguyen adds that the home has “a warm, welcoming feeling.”
Even though the house is spacious at 64 squares, it still maintains a cozy atmosphere.
Some standout modern features of the home include a wine room and an upstairs bar. Additionally, there’s a pet bath.
The house boasts three-meter-high ceilings on the ground floor. Moreover, it has an extended garage and James Hardie cladding on the facade.
Furthermore, the design addresses practical family needs with a mud room. This mud room is conveniently located near the garage entry.
Also, there is a large ground-floor bedroom with an en suite. This space is ideal for an adult child or grandparents.
Nguyen notes that building a home of this quality with a project builder can save customers thousands.
This approach is often more cost-effective than a fully custom design and build. “We achieve strong buying power and rates with our suppliers,” he explains.
“Economies of scale enable us to significantly lower prices,” he adds.
Grover describes the ideal visitor to the Toorak display home. They are “individuals who know the area they want to live in.”
Moreover, these visitors often struggle to find a suitable existing home. “They understand they can come to us,” she says.
“We can provide something more modern and tailored to their needs than an established dwelling,” she adds.
